Mediocrity

I need to learn how to drive
I'm not in control of my life
Yeah, I like the pavement, it feels so much safer
One step in the road, I might die

This morning, I stared at myself in the mirror
The kitchen drawer, scissors in hand
I thought about cutting my hair 'cause I love it
But I'm full of effin' to please

Slowly, I'm losing my mind
You know me, one of these times
I'll do what's best for me
But right now, I'd rather be swimming in my mediocrity

My dad likes being alone
Who he is nobody knows
He drinks a bottle, smoking
Tomorrow, he'll do it all over again

I wish that I happened to people around me
And they didn't happen to me
I feel like an extra in my own biopic
Oh, I cry in every scene
